Ashuris have a powerful sense of detection so they can easily feel the presence of other ashuris that are nearby or if they are being approached by them. This is to avoid any sudden ambushes. When ashuris engage in combat, they use magic to immediately teleport to an alternate dimension of the same world, a dimension reserved solely for combat. This dimension is an alternate reality to the world they are originally in; it looks identical, but it is completely devoid of any other life forms. This realm was produced by Tetru for ashuris to fight while also avoiding harm to humans or innocent ashuri bystanders. Upon teleporting away, the spell cast over humans will make them forget that the ashuris were there in the first place. When the ashuris return from the alternate dimension, there will be no difference to the humans and it will seem as though the ashuris were still there all along.
It's possible for ashuris to bleed, get injured, get scars, or even faint when weakened enough, but they can't lose limbs or die from injuries and blood loss because of their Syoran. The main determinant in a battle's victory is the individual ashuris' pain tolerance. Some ashuris can withstand tremendous amounts of painful wounds before they are finally incapacitated (too weak to move, or have fallen unconscious) and unable to fight. Upon incapacitation, their weapon is automatically despawned into their Syoran, as they no longer have the strength to keep it summoned. Once an ashuri is incapacitated, their opponent can absorb a portion of their life essence from the Syoran using their hand or weapon, or even crush the weakened ashuri's Syoran if they want to kill them.
Their natural magic ability enables ashuris to heal over time. Depending on how "severe" the fight was, it may take longer for the wounds to heal, and if the injuries aren't healed in time then the scars will be permanent. ashuri healthcare centers can be found in Guardian Guilds who help ashuris that are in need of assistance.
