The ashuri weapon is called a "Soul Weapons". The weapon is linked and bound to every ashuri, so if a Syoran is taken from an ashuri both the weapon and the abilities of that weapon go together with it. But that doesn't mean those weapons can easily be used by their new owners. Many weapons have special requirements to actually wield them. For example, if the weapon is big and heavy, the ashuri needs to have a lot of strength, and if the weapon of the previous owner is more thin and sharp then it favors speed and agility.
This goes the same for the abilities, each weapon has a "set" ability that the owner bounds onto the weapon. So if the new owner doesn't know how to re-enact those same abilities or have knowledge on how the abilities work, then that weapon is rendered useless to them. The weapons themselves take the personality of their previous owners. Ashuris are very careful when using their opponent's KABUKIs since the weapons that belonged to slayers can be cursed with bloodlust and turn any innocent ashuri into a merciless ashuri slayer.
Once ashuris are mature enough they start training how to fight and protect themselves. There are special schools where ashuris are also trained where they learn all about their own kind and how to summon their weapons. Once they are able to summon it, the weapon takes form of a special kind of weapon that suits each ashuri. In rare cases, ashuris can have the ability to summon two weapons at once. If the weapon gets thrown by the wielder or during fights they can un-summon and re-summon them at will.
