This section is still under construction as we continue to develop Executioners. Thank you for your patience ♥
Executioners are hand-selected ashuri-born servants of Tetru. They were formerly long-time inhabitants of the underworld, whether they were sent there as penance for crimes or if they were simply a slain innocent. Tetru deemed them worthy of serving him personally because of their ability to fight and survive in the brutal conditions of the underworld.
Ashuris have the option to reject Tetru's offer, but becoming an Executioner means a chance at redemption and the ability to return to the overworld once the contract is complete. However, a contract could take years, decades, or even centuries to fulfill, depending on the severity of the ashuri's crimes. Most ashuris opt to take the contract even if the contract conditions are not in their favor because of the miserable environment of the underworld.
Their main role is to, of course, follow anything that Tetru bids, which mainly involves returning to the overworld in order to hunt dangerous slayers and punish other ashuris as Tetru himself deems fit. Orders from Tetru are usually delivered from Tetru's original demon servants (not ashuri-born, but "true" demons).
The transformation from an ashuri into an Executioner is an extremely painful one. Tetru consumes the ashuri's Syoran and imbues them with his own energy, subjecting them to an unbelievable amount of agony as their body mutates. They are most distinguishable by their horns and demon tail, adopting the likeness of a demon while still retaining some ashuri traits.

FACTS ABOUT EXECUTIONERS
- Upon accepting their contract to Tetru, they can no longer be revived (i.e. by a wish made by a Tournament winner).
- This is because they no longer have life essence; they are powered solely by Tetru's energy.
- They have do not need to rest or sustain themselves.
- They have significantly heightened senses and strength, and they no longer require stamina to fight.
- Executioners can only hunt their prey during the night.
- Humans cannot see Executioners; gifted humans may see an "apparition" of the Executioner's form, but never fully.
- Executioners are extremely adept at hunting down Slayers because of their strong Aura Sensing. They can trace the bloodlust of Slayers, the locations they have been to, the ashuris they have killed, etc.
- Their sensing is strong enough that they can distinguish one Slayer's aura from another.
- Slayers can run from Executioners, but they cannot hide forever.
- Executioners can still be killed by ashuris if they are heavily injured and overpowered.
- They may still retain their personality and some physical traits after the transformation.
- However, if an Executioner is seen to harbor too much sympathy or mercy that interferes with their hunting efficiency, then they will be subject to physical and psychological torture in the underworld until the feelings are "drained" out
